Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Hello everyone!

With the year slowly moving along, I figured now would be a good time to announce which conventions I plan to attend this year. Each year I try harder and harder to add more to my normal list. I'm so happy to say I have expanded past my usual 2-3.

Most of them are in California of course, but so far I am officially signed up for my 1st out of state con. Through constant refreshing and a complete website page break down, I managed to snag a table at Anime Central! I honestly didn't think I would get in and so I was surprised when I actually made the first wave of applicants. I can't let an opportunity like this go to waste.

There are a few more cons I am also considering such as A-Kon, Bronycon, and AWA. But I have not added them to my list since those are purely tenative. Below is a list of all the cons I am confirmed for as well as those I am seriously planning to sign up for.

Looks like a busy schedule! Have you thought about Japan Expo in Santa Clara in August? This will be the first year, but I'm going to try to get into that one. I'm also debating A-Kon, but not sure if I can get the time off due to that being the weekend right after Fanime and also the kick off of the super busy time at my full time job.

Still debating Ani-Jam too. And thinking of trying Stockton-Con. Wish Fanime would get their act together and at least give us some information when AA reg is going to hit!

I would go, but I'm very limited with transportation to cons so that's why I stick to larger cons. Sacramento is easy since I can take the train. I'd be nice if we could go to A-Kon together. Though I heard registration is hell.

Yeah, Fanime seems to be lagging this year. They said it's cause they are trying to get a new room/set up for the AA, but it's getting a little ridiculous now. :/ I mean, ACen is the weekend before and they had their AA reg and list done last year.
